Introducing Youth Space
This summer marks the start of an exciting new chapter for The Power House.
We’re delighted to be relaunching Youth Space, a new programme for young people aged 11–18, offering relaxed, welcoming sessions where they can spend time with friends, meet new people, get creative
and enjoy being outdoors.
Designed with local young people and shaped by conversations with schools and community partners, Youth Space is built around one simple idea: We’re creating somewhere young people feel comfortable being themselves, with no pressure and no cringe!
Whether it's getting into nature at the Cornerstone Patch, sharing brunch at The Hub or unwinding around the fire pit on a summer evening, every session is designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and low-pressure.
There are no expectations. Young people can join in, try something new or simply enjoy having somewhere to be.
As Youth Space grows, young people from Hamworthy and Poole will continue to shape what comes next through their ideas, feedback, and creativity, helping us build something that truly belongs to the local community. We're looking forward to welcoming our first group at the end of July (see below to find out more about days, times, and cost).
